Iguazú är en ort i nordöstra Argentina, i provinsen Misiones, närmare bestämt där floderna Iguazú och Paraná, som markerar gränsen mellan Brasilien och Paraguay, flyter samman.
I nationalparken och världsarvsobjektet Iguazú ligger Iguazúfallen, som med sina mer än 270 vattenfall utgör ett imponerande och majestätiskt skådespel.
Man kan bese dem till fots eller med ett pittoreskt litet tåg. Det finns två olika turer: den övre, med panoramautsikt från gångbroar och utsiktsplatser, och den nedre, då man kommer till vattenfallens bas där vattnets raseri är imponerande, och från en båt har man ett annat perspektiv.
Det största fallet är Garganta del Diablo (Djävulsgapet) och man hör dess rytande då man närmar sig för att se en av de mest imponerande platserna på jorden.
