Salvador de Bahía är en hamnstad i Brasilien, huvudstad i delstaten Bahía, som ligger på en halvö på den nordöstra kusten ut mot Atlanten.

Saluhallen Mercado Modelo är idealisk för att köpa med sig något minne från resan. Den ligger i den nedre staden, mitt emot Lacerda-hissen.
Besök också Brasiliens första fästning, som nu hyser ett sjöfartsmuseum.
De mest besökta öarna är Morro de São Paulo, Boipeba, och Itaparica, och en båttur för att besöka dem är ett nöje.
