Cartagena, som ligger i den karibiska regionen i Colombia, är administrativ huvudort i Bolívardepartementet. Staden ligger vid Colombias kust ut mot Karibiska havet, som omger den nästan helt, med stränder som ligger bara några få meter från staden.
