Hurghada (även skrivet Hurgada) är en betydande turiststad som ligger i Egypten vid stranden av Röda havet, och det är administrativ huvudort i guvernoratet Röda havet. Hurghada är nu uppdelat i två helt olika områden, den gamla staden Ad-Dahar i norr och Sekalla (Siqala) i söder och det är ett av de populäraste områdena vid Röda havets kust för att utöva vattensporter.
Vi rekommenderar ett besök på Hurghadas marinbiologiska museum (Marine Biology Museum), en fantastisk inrättning som med bl.a. ett akvarium och olika utställningar visar dig undervattenslivet i Röda havet.
Men den största attraktionen i Hurghada är utan tvekan de magnifika badstränderna med kristallklart vatten, där man kan utöva olika vattensporter såsom sportdykning och njuta av det fantastiskt vackra undervattenslandskapet som Röda havets kuster bjuder på.
