Biarritz är en stad och kommun i departementet Pyrénées-Atlantiques i den franska regionen Aquitaine.
Avstånden i staden är mycket korta och det är lätt att ta sig från den ena änden till den andra.
Till de viktigaste sevärdheterna i staden hör Port des Pecheurs, en verkligt trevlig fiskehamn omgiven av klipprev. Därifrån har man en underbar utsikt över hela Biarritz.
En annan intressant attraktion är det lilla tåget, Le Petit Train de Biarritz, med vilket man kan göra en åktur från den trevliga staden, längs kusten och de vackra omgivningarna och upptäcka alla vackra vrår i området.
Väl tillbaka i staden kan man besöka museer och gallerier, bland andra Musée de la Mer och Anglikanska museet, som är inhyst i den anglikanska kyrkan i Biarritz.
Staden har dessutom fantastiska badstränder. Några av de viktigaste är de vackra playorna Miramar, Marbella och Milady där man kan utöva många olika vattensporter.
