Dijon är en fransk stad i Bourgogne vid stranden av floden Ouche, nära platsen där Seine-floden rinner upp. Det är känt som senapens huvudstad och där spelades Cyranó de Bergerac in. Här finns arkitektoniska juveler från medeltiden och renässansen samt nyklassiska och moderna byggnader.
Vi vill rekommendera Justitiepalatset och hertigen av Bourgognes palats, för närvarande använt som stadshus, och Musée des Beaux Arts, från vars torn, Philippe le Bon, man har en fantastisk utsikt över staden och dalarna Ouche och Saone.
Besök kyrkan Notre-Dame i närheten av marknaden, Maison Millière, palatset och kyrkan Saint-Michel och Plaçe de la Libération.
Stadens grönområden är utformade med god smak och mycket väl skötta. Huvudgatan i Dijon är Rue de la Liberté och de vackraste gatorna med förstklassiga affärer är reserverade för fotgängare.
Det är ett exceptionellt resmål för dem som älskar god mat, gott vin, konst, historia och cykelturism. Det finns logiplatser för alla plånböcker och smaker och du kan njuta av sol och bad på Kir-sjöns stränder med aktiviteter såsom segling, kanot- och kajakpaddling och rodd.
