Den franska staden Nantes är administrativ huvudort i regionen Pays de la Loire och i departementet Loire Atlantique, vid stranden av floden Loire.
En av de viktigaste sevärdheterna i staden är hertigen av Bretagnes slott, som är från 1400-talet men helt nyligen restaurerat för att hysa ett lyxigt museum över Nantes historia, där man visar konst och arkitektur, bland annat gobelängen ”les États de Bretagne”.
Vi rekommenderar också ett besök i den gotiska katedralen, som är från 1400-talet och tillägnad S:t Peter och S:t Paulus. Du kan också beundra det Heliga korsets kyrka (1600-talet), stadshuset (1600-talet), Graslin-teatern (1700-talet), Bretagne-tornet, kapellet Saint-François-de-Sales och det nuvarande Justitiepalatset, m.fl. andra intressanta platser.
