Quimper är en fransk stad och administrativ huvudort i departementet Finistère i regionen Bretagne. Det ligger där floderna Steir, Odet och Jet flyter samman.
Staden är populär för sin vinterfestival som ägnas åt musik, där man kan få lyssna till livekonserter. Man har flera mycket intressanta gamla kyrkor att besöka, men den viktigaste är den gotiska katedralen Saint Corentin. Katedralen är byggd i en vacker och mycket komplicerad gotisk stil och den har ett mycket karakteristiskt drag som skiljer den från andra: konstruktionen böjer sig i vinkel för att anpassa sig till omgivningen där den är belägen. Stadens centrum har också sin stora charm tack vare en del befästningsverk och hus från medeltiden som kommer att göra dig förtjust. Musée des Beaux-Arts ligger i närheten av katedralen och där kan man beundra en fin samling konstverk. Ett annat mycket attraktivt museum är Musée de la Faiance, som har en samling med fint porslin, konstnärligt målat i mycket komplicerade mönster. I juli kan man hänge sig åt glädjen vid dansfestivalen Festival de Cornouailles.
