Reims ligger i nordöstra Frankrike, bara något mer än 150 kilometer från Paris, i Marne-departementet, som i sin tur hör till regionen Champagne-Ardenne.
En av de viktigaste sevärdheterna i staden är katedralen Notre-Dame de Reims i gotisk stil, som började byggas år 1211 och som historiskt har varit mycket betydande då de franska kungarna kröntes här. Det mest utmärkande är den imponerande fasaden och glasmålningarna.
En annan viktig sevärdhet är basilikan Saint Rémi, byggd 1007 i en stilblandning där den gotiska och romanska stilen dominerar. Vi rekommenderar också ett besök i Tau-palatset, som byggdes på 1600-talet, Musée des Beaux Arts, den enorma Marsporten och herrgården Le Vergeur, byggd mellan 1200- och 1500-talet och som nu hyser ett konstmuseum.
