Saroniska öarna är grekiska öar som ligger sydväst om Pireus. Huvudorten och den främsta hamnen är Egina på ön med samma namn. De andra öarna i ögruppen är Hydra, Poros och Spetses.
Egina ligger mitt emot Atens kust och här kan man besöka Aphaia-templet, det bäst bevarade templet i Grekland, och S:t Nectarius-kyrkan. Egina är berömt för sina pistaschmandlar och sin keramik.
Poros är den minsta ön, full med cintronodlingar och tallskog och ruinerna av Poseidons tempel i mitten av denna vackra ö.
Hydra är den mest pittoreska av Saroniska öarna. Det är en kosmopolitisk ö, med betydande affärsgator, restauranger och tavernor, där man kan smaka de utsökta grekiska gastronomiska specialiteterna, och med hus av sten och trånga gränder där bilar är förbjudna.
På Spetses hittar du paradisiska stränder som Aghia Paraskevi, omgiven av tallskog, och de mycket populära Aghios Mammas och Aghia Marina. Du kan besöka St. Nicolaus-kyrkan, stadshuset i nyklassisk stil, Bouboulina-museet och de storslagna palatsen från 1700-talet, eller sätta dig ner och dricka något på de välbesökta kaféerna på Dapia-torget.
