This is a historical urban hotel built in 1865, and a jewel of the Catalan Modernism. The halls and restaurant were decorated under the direction of illustrious architect LLuís Domènech i Montaner, with the collaboration of the painter Ramon Houses and the sculptor Eusebi Arnau. The hotel has 83 rooms, many of them apt for 3, 4 and up to 5 people, as well as a 24-hour reception service, lift, Internet corner and restaurant with à la carte service and daily menu.

It is close to the La Boquería Market, the Plaza Catalunya Square, the Colón Promenade, the MACBA, the Cathedral and the Gothic Quarter. The sea is easily reached with a 1-km walk.
