wonderful hotel in a superb position for visiting anywhere in prague ,beautiful room with all the facilities anyone could require,with very friendly and helpful staff

prague is your oyster when you stay at the Waldstein,it is in the perfect position for anything you wish to do from sightseeing .theatres and dining or visiting places outside prague

Don't know why they tried to make money on 3 bottles of water, when I never used the minibar. First time ever it happens to me.

Perfect location in the old town.

I wish I got fresher breakfast.

Overall, I was satisfied with our stay, especially price, location in the city, and tea set.

The room we stayed was bit unsafety because it was placed in front of the public space, and remote from the reception. TV set often lost the aerial signal. No doors between entrance and bed room.

Very good to walk around the city centre. I guess that's the most important for the visitor.

A daytrip to Karlovy Vary can be recommended.

It could have been a couple of stting chears (deep) in the room.

It is a short distance to the Karls bridge.

Room was on the square which was very noisy, particularly since in Summer it is essential to sleep with the windows open due to temperatures.

Ideal for the castle, river, and Charles Bridge.

Hotel in a superb position to explore all of Prague's major sites of interest. Also situated in a beautiful part of Prague. From the hotel you don't need a tram or the metro to reach nearly all places of interest. We found the hotel lovely. Very in keeping with 'old Prague', and a fascinating basement carved out of the rock, complete with its own well, where a generous breakfast was served.

One of the male reception staff very taciturn and unhelpful. An unfortunate incident over the deposit paid for the key to operate the safe/strongbox in our room which had not been recorded by him upon receipt of the key was resolved pleasantly and helpfully by a female receptionist (regret I didn't get her name) who paid back the deposit without further question.

Wow - brilliant location and to have stayed in such a beautiful room, old wood and curved ceilings, and breakfast in what must have once been ancient wine cellars...great!

Lovely hotel, set back from the road. We booked a two bed room and ended up in a huge four bed apartment. Good breakfast, plenty and lots of variety. Friendly staff.

Would have liked a double bed instead of two single pushed together with metal bars in the middle!

In walking distance of King Charles bridge, the castle, old town square, and lots of restaurants and bars.
