There is a free shuttle bus service to a gym, which is located 4 km away and which offers professional supervision, use of a Jacuzzi, a sauna, steam baths and a massage service (additional fees apply for certain facilities). Sports enthusiasts may play a round of tennis or billiards and an entertainment programme provides some variation. It is 7 km to the nearest golf course.

A pathway leads 750 m through a pine forest to Ancão Beach and there are many shopping venues as well as countless bars, restaurants and nightclubs to be found within 4 km of the hotel. Transfer to the airport takes about 40 minutes and links to the public transport network lie roughly 9 km away.

From Faro International Airport follow signs to Faro until the signs for Lisboa Loulè, turn right to join the main road N 125. After approx. 5 km go through 2 sets of traffic lights and turn right to Almancil. At the 1st set of traffic lights, turn left to Vale do Lobo, until reaching a T-junction. Turn right onto Vale do Lobo. Follow 1 km and turn left onto Vale do Garrâo, Praia do Ancâo, until seeing an arch, drive over until the very end of the road and turn right to Praia do Ancâo, pass Quinta do Mar Village and you will see the hotel right-hand side.
