The aparthotel occupies the former headquarters of the Republican Youth Movement, Joventut Radical Republicana, built at the beginning of the 20th century. The building features Neo-Industrial architecture, making it one of Barcelona's prime historic buildings, full of loft-style rooms which have been converted into 23 apartments. This aparthotel comprises a ground floor and two upper floors and has spacious and bright designer lofts for up to four people, which truly stand out for their combination of brick walls and large windows of steel, cement and glass, ideal for long stays for business or pleasure. The main amenities include lift access to the upper floors, wireless Internet access, room service and a garage (for a fee).
Room description
The aparthotel has single-space, loft-type, studio apartments, with large windows that fill the room with natural light. All rooms sleep 4 and are en suite and feature a bath or shower and hairdryer, as well as double, twin or double sofa beds, a direct dial telephone, a TV and Internet access. Further amenities include a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. The decor of the lofts is New York-style. The combination of materials such as steel and glass with brick walls particularly stands out. Additional features include a washing machine, an ironing set and individually regulated air conditioning/heating.
