The resort, renovated in 2008, is one of the longest established in the Algarve. Its 61 villas and 165 apartments, totalling 844 beds, are situated around vast mature gardens and one of the largest swimming pools in the Algarve, covering an area of 9 hectares all together. The air-conditioned resort features a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, cloakroom, lift access and a newspaper stand. A hairdressing salon is available for guests' convenience and a games room, TV lounge, café and bar are on offer for entertainment. There is WLAN Internet access and laundry service both for an additional fee and a car park for those arriving by car.

Room description

All villas and apartments enjoy a private terrace overlooking the garden or swimming pool and are fully equipped with kitchenette including microwave, oven, fridge, electric kettle and toaster. They also feature an en suite bath with shower/bathtub, satellite TV and individually regulated air conditioning.

Sport activities description

The resort offers a huge outdoor swimming pool for adults, as well as a children's swimming area, sun loungers and parasols. Guests may enjoy playing football, tennis, snooker (for a fee) The Snack Bar offers light lunches and various snacks throughout the day next to the swimming pool (for a fee). Golfers can visit the course located around 7 km from the resort. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the beach for an additional fee.

This family-friendly beach club resort is located near the famous Strip of Albufeira in a peaceful area just 10 m away. Guests can find restaurants, bars, discos, shops, supermarkets, the tourist office, banks and public transport just a few steps away. The resort is located on a park and Oura Beach is just 700 m away. The train station is roughly 2 km away. Other points of interest may include Marina Albufeira and the Aquashow, which are located around 5 km from the resort. Vilamoura and the Zoomarine are located around 7 and 10 km away respectively. Faro Airport of Portugal is situated approximately 40 km from the resort.

To get to the hotel by Car from the airport: Go past the roundabout with white statues on. Carry on down the expressway passing various car rental places. Take the 2nd exit for Portimão and join on to another dual carriageway. Go straight along here (past car sale stands) and get in the left lane to get on the Via do Infante (motorway). Follow the signs for Albufeira, Portimão. Once on the motorway get off at the exit for Boliqueime around and then follow the road straight. A small roundabout will come, go straight over towards the traffic lights and get in the right-hand lane, on the En 125. Carry on straight untill a crossroads with traffic lights, get in the left lane turning for Albufeira. Then follow the winding road (with a few roundabouts). Just after the Repsol garage you will come to a roundabout with palm trees on: turn right then 1st left, go down the long road. At the bottom is a Pingo Doce supermarket, then a roundabout with worms on, take the 3rd exit. Be in the right-hand lane as you will take the 2nd right. Passing cafe del mar on the right, after a restaurant turn into a small road on the left before the Tic Tac Bar. This is the Vilanova. On the left is a small brick pillar, press the button to open the barrier and reception is on the right down the stairs.
