Ön Lombok ligger i provinsen Nusa Tenggara Barat i Indonesien, mycket nära Bali.
Ön är mycket känd över hela världen för sina orörda stränder med kristallklart vatten, vit sand och kokospalmer. Om man gör en rundtur på ön hittar man många tempel i hinduisk och balinesisk stil och även många byggnader i den lokala kulturens stil. Den infödda befolkningen på Lombok tillhör stammen Sasak.
Vi rekommenderar att man besöker Kuta Kute-stränderna, som är idealiska för naturister, och Senggigi-stranden, där man hittar vackra vikar med ljus sand och imponerande klippstup.
Det finns dessutom en rad öar i närheten av Lombok (30 minuter med båt) som med ett samlingsnamn kallas Gilí-öarna och som alla har magnifika stränder med korallrev och blått vatten, idealiskt för sportdykning. Namnen på dessa tre öar är Gilí Trawangan, Gilí Air och Gilí Meno.
Du kan också njuta av de fantastiska vattenfallen Sendang Gila och Tiu Kelep, som ligger inbäddade i en frodig vegetation och omgivna av naturliga bassänger med kristallklart vatten, ett verkligt paradis.
