Irlands sydöstkust är ett område med vackra stränder och ett pittoreskt kuperat landskap.
Det består av grevskapen Carlow, Kilkenny, Tipperary, Waterford och Wexford. Staden Waterford, huvudorten i grevskapet med samma namn, är sydöstra Irlands viktigaste kommersiella centrum.

I grevskapet Wexford kan du besöka Hook Lighthouse, en fyr från 1700-talet och jordbruksmuseet. Och i Carlow måste du gå omkring i den romantiska parken Altamont och Huntington Castle.
Förutom vattensporter vid stränderna, kan du ägna dig åt cykelsport, fiske, golf och ridning och du kan se de berömda vinthundstävlingarna och delta i många andra aktiviteter på sydöstra Irland.
