Alberobello är en kommun i Bariprovinsen, i regionen Puglia i Italien. För sina karakteristiska bostäder kallade trulli togs det upp på UNESCO:s världsarvslista år 1996.
Några av dessa ”trulli” används som restauranger, affärer, scener för artistuppträdanden och även som logi.
Man kan också ta in på mycket bekväma 4- och 5-stjärniga hotell och det finns en hel del restauranger där man kan smaka ortens utsökta, typiska rätter.
Man kan ta sig dit med tåg från staden Bari, som ligger 55 kilometer därifrån.
Mycket nära Alberobello finns det också andra sevärdheter som man kan besöka till fots, t.ex. de fascinerande byarna Locorotondo, Cisternino och Ostuni eller Martina Franca i elegant barockstil. Förutom dessa är det Castellanagrottorna och Itriadalen som är de mest intressanta utflykterna man kan göra.
I Alberobello finns det några besök som är ett måste: basilikan, Trullo Sovrano, där man kan bevista teaterföreställningar och konserter, trullo-kyrkan San Antonio och Museo Trullo.
