Det fins också många monument, kyrkor, slott och fästningar, av vilka vi bara räknar upp några: S:ta Anastasia-kyrkan (från 1290) i gotisk stil, katedralen (Duomo), byggd år 1100, S:ta Elena-kyrkan, San Pietro-slottet, basilikan San Zeno Maggiore (från år 1120), Palazzo Municipale och Casa Julieta, där huvudpersonen i Shakespeares tragiska kärlekshistoria ”Romeo och Julia”, som ju utspelades i Verona, bodde. Det är, förutom Julias grav, av de mest besökta platserna i staden.
Staden är dessutom full av vackra torg och parker och den ligger mycket nära Gardasjön, vilket utgör en extra lockelse för att besöka staden.
