Niagarafallen är egentligen en grupp av flera stora vattenfall i floden Niagara mellan Förenta staterna och Kanada. Fallen på den kanadensiska sidan tillhör Queen Victoria Niagara Falls Park i Ontario.
Plattformarna i parken erbjuder en fantastisk utsikt över fallen, där det också finns stigar som leder till utsiktplatser där man står bakom vattnet som faller med våldsam kraft.
Från utsiktsplatsen Skylon Tower har du en panoramautsikt från 160 meters höjd och om du vänder dig om har du utsikt över Toronto. I tornet finns det en roterande restaurang.
Man kan gå under Niagarafallen genom tunnlar och på plattformar eller göra en båttur som blir en oförglömlig upplevelse. En annan intressant tur är den man kan göra med båt på Niagarafloden från Fort Erie till Fort George.
Den kanadensiska sidan har en mycket bra infrastruktur för turister. Gatan Clifton Hill är mycket kommersiell med olika tema-attraktioner, i synnerhet med nöjen och ett intensivt nattliv. I området Fallsview har man ett bra och varierat hotellutbud.
I skymningen klär sig Niagarafallen i olika färger tack vare illuminationen som är ett imponerande skådespel man måste se.
