Ciudad Real är den administrativa huvudorten i provinsen med samma namn, som hör till den autonoma regionen Castilla-la Mancha i Spanien.
Staden har många olika monument och attraktioner, bland andra Santiago-kyrkan, den äldsta i staden, som är från 1200-talet och har detaljer i gotisk och romansk stil, samt kyrkan San Pedro Apóstol i gotisk stil, som anses vara ett av de viktigaste monumenten i Ciudad Real och är från 1300-talet. Du kan även beundra Puerta de Toledo (ungefär 1200-talet), som förklarades vara nationalmonument redan år 1915. Vi rekommenderar dessutom ett besök i katedralen Nuestra Señora del Prado, en ståtlig, gotisk byggnad, som byggdes under 1400 och 1500-talen. Men den mest intressanta platsen är nog Puerta del Perdón, som är från 1200-talet. En tur i Arkeologiska museet är också lockande. Det har en intresseväckande samling föremål av stort historiskt, arkitektoniskt och kulturellt värde.
