Costa Tropical eller Granadakusten ligger i södra Spanien, vid Medelhavet. Den tillhör Granadaprovinsen i regionen Andalusien och de mest populära turistorterna är Almuñécar, Motril och Salobreña.
Om du är intresserad av historia har Almuñécar, som grundades av de antika fenicierna, ett stort arv: två feniciska gravplatser, ruinerna av den romerska akvedukten, den arabiska fästningen och många andra mycket gamla sevärdheter.
Du kommer att förvånas över de små fyrkantiga vita husen i Salobreña, som ligger liksom staplade på kullen där den gamla arabiska fästningen ligger. Uppifrån toppen har man en underbar utsikt över bergen i Sierra Nevada som smälter samman med Medelhavet och det odlade låglandet. Det ser ut som ett drömlikt vykort.
I Motril kan du besöka en mängd olika religiösa byggnader, Stadshuset, teatern Calderón de la Barca, där man arrangerar olika intressanta kulturella evenemang, och imponerande gamla herremanshus. Ett promenadstråk som är mycket omtyckt är Las Explanadas, intill kullen med helgedomen Virgen de la Cabeza. Där förekommer kulturella aktiviteter och du hittar ett flertal pubar och barer.
