Formentera är en vacker ö i Medelhavet som hör till ögruppen Balerarerna i Spanien. Tillsammans med Ibiza och flera andra öar utgör de den lilla populära ögruppen Pitiusas, som ingår i den större, Balearerna.
När man befinner sig på ön kan man se havet från vilken plats som helst. Man kan njuta av dess vackra badstränder med ljus sand eller undersöka någon av de förvånande undervattensgrottorna man kan hitta i en del av de undangömda vikarna.
Formentera är en lugn och fridfull ö med en beundransvärt väl bevarad natur.
Av de mest populära aktiviteterna och attraktionerna på ön kan vi rekommendera La Sabina med sin typiska charm, som är den enda hamnen på Formentera. En annan vacker plats är Las Salinas, ett naturreservat som överraskar både med sitt landskap och med sin växt- och djurvärld av betydande ekologiskt värde. Mitt på ön ligger San Francisco Javier, en liten by med vita hus som också har en av öns härligaste stränder, Cala Sabina. Om du vill få en ordentlig överblick över hela ön, ska du bege dig till utsiktsplatsen på la Mola.
Formentera är en mycket naturskön paradisö.
