Huesca är administrativ huvudort i provinsen med samma namn, som hör till den autonoma regionen Aragonien i Spanien. Det är en vacker stad som ligger i Ebrodalen, intill Isuelafloden och vid foten av Pyrenéerna. Staden har ett viktigt religiöst och historiskt arv och den har ett mycket aktivt kulturliv. Många av stadens byggnader är verkliga skönheter och de är exempel på den bästa arkitekturen från olika historiska perioder, t.ex. Huescas katedral i tidig gotik, klostret San Pedro Viejo i romansk stil med sin korsgång och gravmonumentet Panteón de los Reyes de Aragón, och till sist basilikan San Lorenzo i barockstil och många andra. Några av de civila monumenten såsom stadshuset (Ayuntamiento) är också fängslande. Det imponerande gamla societetshuset Casino Municipal är utan tvekan ett skådespel, framför allt på natten då hela byggnaden illumineras. I Huesca finns det dessutom många museer och konstgallerier. Några av stadens festligheter lockar många turister, bl.a. San Lorenzo-festen i augusti och påskveckans religiösa festligheter.
