Menorca är en av de viktigaste öarna i Balearerna, Spanien.

Ön har en omväxlande, vacker medelhavsnatur som man har vetat att bevara på ett storartat sätt. I varje vrå av ön har man rättmätigt skyddat det vackra landskapet och därför har det av UNESCO år 1993 förklarats vara biosfärreservat.

Till de mest besökta platserna på Menorca hör naturreservatet Albufera d'es Grau, ett verkligt paradis för flyttfåglar, fiskar, reptiler och alla typer av växt- och djurarter.

Men det mest utmärkande för Menorca är utan tvivel de vackra badstränderna, i många olika stilar och för alla smaker. Du kan hitta vida stränder med mjuk sand, undangömda vikar eller, i söder, stränder med vit sand och turkosblått vatten som står i skarp kontrast till de gröna tallarna.

Menorca har ett stort utbud på museer, bland andra: det naturhistoriska museet (Museu de la Natura), Menorcamuseet, med samlingar som illustrerar stadens historia, det municipala museet Ciutadella och en lång rad andra.
