Pyrenéerna på den Iberiska halvön är en 415 kilometer lång bergskedja som sträcker sig mellan Spanien, Andorra och Frankrike.
Pyrenéernas naturrikedom omfattar över 3 000 meter höga toppar, glaciärer, dalar, raviner och sjöar. Den södra sluttningen sträcker sig ner genom Spanien i Navarra, Aragonien och Katalonien och på grund av sitt klimat och sin skönhet erbjuder den turisterna stora möjligheter till fritidsaktiviteter. I den katalanska delen av Pyrenéerna ligger de viktiga skidstationerna Port Ainé, en av de största och mest kompletta i Europa med kafeterior, restauranger och spellokaler; La Molina, känd som det första skidcentret i Spanien; Vall de Núria, en liten skidstation med ett storartat landskap som är idealiskt för hela familjen och till sist Vallter 2000.
