Pyrenéerna är en bergskedja som ligger mellan Spanien och Frankrike. På den spanska sidan går den genom Navarra, Aragonien (Huesca) och Katalonien (Lérida och Gerona).
Detta charmfulla landskap inbjuder till rid- och cykelturer, fotvandring, utflykter, rafting, forsränning och bergsklättring. På vintern är skidåkning den viktigaste sporten och infrastrukturen för detta står på världsnivå, med utmärkta skidpister, excellent gastronomi och historiskt och kulturellt intressanta sevärdheter.
I Navarrapyrenéerna måste man besöka Baztándalen, Aezkoadalen. Salazardalen, Roncaldalen och Arbayún- och Lumbierravinerna.
I de aragonesiska Pyrenéerna ligger de högsta topparna, t.ex. Aneto (3 404 meter ö.h.) och Monte Perdido (3 355 meter ö.h.). Du kan besöka Hechodalen, San Juan de la Peña, Tenadalen, Broto, nationalparken Ordesa y Monte Perdido, naturreservatet Posets-Maladeta och den medeltida staden Aínsa.
I de katalanska Pyrenéerna finns det vackra sjöar med kristallklart vatten och romanska och medeltida monument. Du kan besöka Boídalen – som tillhör världsarvet –, nationalparken Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici och Alt Áneu.
