Sevilla är regionhuvudstad i Andalusien i den södra delen av Spanien. Det är en stor, attraktiv stad med många sevärdheter.
Den ligger vid floden Guadalquivir som delar staden i två delar, Sevilla och Triana. På floden kan man åka båt och det är en mycket intressant båttur man får uppleva. Katedralen i Sevilla, en av de mest imponerande i landet, är från 1400-talet och här vilar kvarlevorna av den berömda upptäcktsresanden Christofer Columbus.
Ett av katedralens torn, La Giralda, är ett magnifikt klocktorn som har blivit en symbol för staden och i närheten hittar man Real Alcázar, en mycket vacker byggnad i mudejarstil som tillkom på 1300-talet. Den charmiga och pittoreska stadsdelen Santa Cruz är ett virrvarr av små gator och gränder och mycket populär bland turister. Där finns bland annat Plaza de los Venerables, som är en plats att vila ut på, med vackra byggnader, bland annat ett barockkapell som man inte får missa. Litet längre bort ligger Torre del Oro är från 1200-talet och det hyser nu ett sjöfartsmuseum och till sist parken María Luisa, som är en stor park med vackra trädgårdar och attraktiva monument och museer.
