Sierra Nevada är ett 80 kilometer långt bergsmassiv som ligger i Andalusien i Spanien. Mulhacén, med sina 3 482 meter, är dess högsta topp.
Intill skidstationen, som är internationellt känd, ligger byn Pradollano på en höjd av 2 100 meter över havet. Den har den nödvändiga infrastrukturen för att ta emot ett stort antal turister, med hotell, lantlogier, turistlägenheter, restauranger, barer och ett vibrerande nattliv. Pradollano är den perfekta basen för dem som älskar skidåkning, snowboard, fotvandring, bergsklättring, slädåkning, vandring på snöskor, skridskoåkning och ridning. Skidsäsongen varar från slutet av november till mitten av maj.
Det finns många byar som är intressanta för turister i Sierra Nevada, t.ex. Güejar Sierra, Nigüelas, Capileira och Bubión. Det finns också flera sjöar som smälter vackert in i det omgivande landskapet.
