Nottingham is an English city and the capital of the county of Nottinghamshire, in the East Midlands region.
Nottingham is famous for its connections with the legend of Robin Hood, which has its roots in the Middle Ages. It is believed that Robin Hood lived in Sherwood Forest, which is located to the north of the city.
