Staden Prag är huvudstad och den viktigaste staden i den Tjeckiska republiken och även administrativ huvudort i Böhmenregionen. Den ligger vid floden Moldau och kallas ofta för Europas hjärta.

Bland de viktigaste sevärdheterna vi rekommenderar är Gamlastadstorget, som är från 1100-talet och den viktigaste platsen i den gamla stadskärnan. Det finns två byggnader som dominerar torget: Stadshuset och Tyn-kyrkan. Du kan även besöka S:t Nikolaus-kyrkan i barockstil, familjen Kinskys palats, stenhuset med det medeltida astronomiska uret (som är från 1300-talet), som för närvarande hyser Praggalleriets konsert- och utställningssalar.

Men det är utan tvekan Pragborgen (från 800-talet) som är en av stadens mest symboltyngda byggnadsverk. Där inne ligger dessutom katedralen, det kungliga slottet och många andra viktiga monument.
