Staden Antalya är administrativ huvudort i provinsen med samma namn och den ligger i södra Turkiet. Antalya är ett av Turkiets viktigaste turistmål och dess historia går tillbaka till den äldre stenåldern.
Bland de mest intressanta platserna kan vi nämna den imponerande Yivli Minare, en minaret i tegel från år 1230, Hadrianusporten, som är från år 130, Kocali-parken, Atatürkmuseet, citadellet och det arkeologiska museet.
Men staden har även ett vackert naturlandskap man kan njuta av, bl.a. i Antalyas marina, där man kan simma, utöva vattensporter såsom surfing eller helt enkelt bara koppla av i solen. Vi rekommenderar även att man lär känna den vackra stadsparken Karaalioglu som är en stimulans för alla dina sinnen med massor av olika blommor, kristallklart vatten och härliga berg som omger den. Yavuz Özcan är en annan vacker plats där man kan koppla av till sorlet från vattenfallet och de vackra fontänerna som illumineras på natten.
