Bodrum är en hamnstad i provinsen Mugla i den sydvästra delen av den egeiska regionen i Turkiet.
Det är ett mycket viktigt internationellt turistcentrum framför allt känt bland dem som ägnar sig åt segling och andra båtsporter. Staden kan indelas i två områden med ett attraktivt turistutbud. Å ena sidan den östra delen med sina badstränder, barer och restauranger, som är det mest aktiva området, där nattklubbarna står för en stor del av nöjet. I den västra sektorn å andra sidan, som mer siktar in sig på segling och andra båtsporter, är livet lugnare och man kan njuta av en promenad på de pittoreska gatorna.
Bodrum ligger där den gamla staden Halikarnassos tidigare låg och därför har staden ett viktigt historiskt arv som omfattar resterna av det berömda Mausollos gravtempel, ett av världens sju underverk. När det imponerande mausoleet förstördes på grund av en jordbävning, användes mycket av materialet för att bygga Bodrums slott år 1402. Slottet är en av de intressantaste platserna i staden och där finns det prisbelönta museet för undervattensarkeologi.
